Lazy Day Top Ramen Soup

Today I am making a lazy day top ramen soup. I also call this my sick day top ramen soup. It is full of freeze-dried, dehydrated, and frozen vegetables. I used Thrive Life freeze-dried foods to make my soup today. Using freeze-dried foods makes it a quick, easy, and nutritious soup. There is no chopping, no rotten food in the fridge, and no clean-up. You use want you need and that is it.

You can use your favorite vegetables like green beans, asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli, squash, anything you want. I used mushrooms, celery, chopped onions, diced beef cubes, corn, carrots, and peas in mine. The freeze-dried beef cubes add an extra boost of beef flavor to the soup.

This recipe is so easy. You just add how much or as little of the vegetables that you want. Then add the top ramen noodles, spice packet, and water. You can also use broth instead of water for more of a beef flavor.

This recipe can be made with chicken top ramen with added chunks of chicken or shrimp top ramen with added extra pieces of shrimp.

There are so many things you can do with top ramen besides add water and eat. I learned a long time ago how to make top ramen in different ways. When I was first laid off from my job in the 90’s I was on unemployment and learned that unemployment doesn’t pay the rent and buy groceries. I lived on Top Ramen and Mac n Cheese for a couple of months before I got another job. I learned various ways to make different versions of each. In the future, I will add more variations of each.

Do you have a favorite Top Ramen recipe that you like to make at home?
