BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich

BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich
BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich late at night?
Ok! So it’s midnight, I’m raiding the fridge and finding nothing looks good. Instead, I raided the pantry looking for that elusive snack. I found Thrive Life freeze-dried pulled pork and chopped onions. I found half of Keizer roll, cream cheese, and BBQ sauce. What a great half sandwich that will make. What would go better with it this late? A pickle of course! Hmmm. think I’ll have weird dreams tonight?
The Bagel Store
Why this sandwich? I remember buying pulled pork half bagels every week from my favorite bagel shop for breakfast. The line was always out the door trying to get in to get a loaded bagel for breakfast or lunch. You could get breakfast egg, bacon, and cream cheese bagels, hamburgers on bagels, fish or salmon sandwiches. There were quite a few things on their menu. How sad they closed due to COVID-19 last year never to open again. Now I have to buy the ingredients at the store and make it at home. Thankfully, it isn’t complicated to make.
These are also great for lunch and dinner. Just add your favorite side dish or vegetable. Thrive Life makes it quick and easy to make this simple dish. Get some pulled pork, onion and add water, wait 15-20 minutes. Then add BBQ sauce and you are ready to smear it on bread covered with cream cheese. YUMMY!!!

I used Thrive Life freeze dried foods we store as backup food storage in our pantry. Thrive Life is storage-friendly for up to 25 years in unopened cans. Once opened pork and turkey are good 6 months to 1 year in the freezer. All other foods are shelf-stable opened for up to 1 year, unopened for 25 years.
